Former Giants Linebacker Lands with the Eagles
The Giants have been in the midst of a rebuild since last season. One of the biggest things that they needed to fix was the defensive line, and with several people entering into free agency, this did not help them at all. One of their linebackers, Azeez Ojulari, entered into free agency and is hurting them even more. It didn’t take long before he was picked up by another team. Ojulari will now be playing in Philadelphia with the Eagles after signing a one-year, four-million-dollar deal.
Ojulari came out of Georgia and immediately made his entrance into the NFL world. He was drafted by the Giants in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was the 50th overall pick in the second round. He has been with the Giants since then. He had no intentions of going anywhere but did the best he could when he played for Big Blue.
As a linebacker, he has appeared in 46 games for the New York Giants. He has a combined total of 107 stops. Ojulari has also assisted with 48 stops and has made 22 sacks in his career with the Giants. He has made moves on the defensive line. He was one of their better assets and even proved it during this past season. He had played side by side with Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence and did everything he could to help the defensive line look better than they have been in recent years.
Now that the Eagles have him to add to what they already have, things should be on the better end of things for them. He is definitely who they have been looking for. Ojulari is going to be just as great as he always has been. He will get the job done and prove to them that he has what it takes to be a part of their team. The Eagles will be putting him to good use for the 2025 season.
