Haaland’s new contract is reportedly one of the most expensive in football history and will see him earn around £500,000 a week. While Haaland’s form this season hasn’t matched the staggering heights of his debut campaign, his long-term presence remains crucial for Manchester City. Currently sitting sixth in the Premier League table and 12 points behind leaders Liverpool, City’s chances of reclaiming the title are slim, albeit not impossible.
