Will Tiffany Stratton Cash-In at Crown Jewel?

WWE

Crown Jewel will take place in less than 12 hours, the WWE’s annual premium live event in Saudi Arabia. The 2024 Crown Jewel event is much different from the ones in years past, as this year we’ll get a match between both the men’s and women’s champions. The winner of both of these matches will obtain the Crown Jewel Championship. For the men, WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes will face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, and while this match could have some interference from multiple superstars, the women’s Crown Jewel championship match definitely has some intriguing questions surrounding it that may get answered sooner than we think. On the November 1st episode of Friday Night SmackDown, 2024 Women’s Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton announced she’d be cashing in her Money in the Bank contract against either her ally in Queen Nia Jax, the WWE Women’s Champion or against the Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.

While Stratton could be just bluffing, I don’t think she would say that for no reason. If she said she intended on cashing in, I don’t think the fans would be lied to. Since becoming the Queen of the Ring at the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event, which also took place in Saudi Arabia, Jax has grown to have a Queen’s court with Stratton as her princess and the tag team of Pretty Deadly as her knights. There’s been so much chatter involving when Stratton was going to break her alliance with the WWE Women’s Champion and was going to cash in her contract, especially because this year they downright botched the men’s Money in the Bank match. We have seen multiple instances where this year’s Women’s Money in the Bank winner was going to cash in that briefcase, but a deadly and irritated look from Jax stopped these plans from happening for now.

Jax has held the WWE Women’s Championship for 90 days, ever since earning her way to a championship match when she became the Queen of the Ring, then faced off against Bayley at SummerSlam and won. If Stratton wins a championship at Crown Jewel, she will win her first championship on the main roster at the age of 25. My prediction would be that if we see Tiffy-time win the title, this could set up feuds eventually with Jax, Bayley, Naomi, Michin, and perhaps the likes of Charlotte Flair. It would be a WrestleMania-type match to have the likes of Stratton and Flair in the same ring with one another. The WWE Universe is ready to see Stratton go from a heel to a babyface, and I think now is, more than ever, the best opportunity to pull the lever.
